Language switching

Language switching on Macbook Air M1 seems to stop working after a while, when using the Globe FN button. How can I add another shortcut for language switching?

MacBook Air 13″, macOS 11.1

The globe key is new with Big Sur and is still buggy. For the standard shortcuts that are still available, see
