Garageband on iMac 21.5, Late 2012

Hi! I have an iMac that I used to run Garageband from and it is now saying it's no longer compatible with my OS so I tried updating the OS to macBigSur but it will not let me.

Can I please get some guidance on how to fix this issue?

Thank you,

Jamie Luithly

If you previously installed GarageBand under your current Apple ID, you can download the earlier version from the "Purchased" section of the App Store.
