My MAC won't let me download Garage Band. I have Mac OS 10.15.7, and I keep getting the message that I need OS 11 or greater to download Garage band. Can I no longer upgrade the system on my iMac?

The version I have is 10.3.5 but it won't update. App Store says ..........."We could not complete your update. How can I download GarageBand as I can't update to OS11? Just bought a late 2013 iMac intending to use garageband but sell updated to Catalina OS and GB not on drive and can't download!!!! How can I download it as I can't update to OS11. ANYBODY Ta [Edited by Moderator]

Garage Band update won't load I have a Garage Band update (10.4.1) pending but when I try to download it I'm told I need to have macOS version 11 or later, but I am running macOS Catalina 10.15.7 Can someone please help me!

You need a 2014 or later iMac to upgrade to Big Sur or later.

If you had downloaded GB previously from the app store, it will be in your purchases.
