I don’t have the option to opt out of closed captioning on Apple TV app for a Samsung tv. How can I turn this off?

In the Apple TV app, go to Settings﹥Accessibility﹥Subtitles and Captioning﹥ and turn it off.

That would set the default behavior, for the next time.

To turn off subtitles and closed captioning during playback, press the down button on the smart TV or device remote to show the Subtitles pane, then select an option (e.g. ✓Off).
