Why is Sir so hopelessly Useless.

I've been with apple for years now and 2 things that have never improved! Siri has always been the poor relation -substandard in comparison with Alexa and 2 the predictive Text on iPhone absolute rubbish. Why is this with allegedly the best company in the World. isn't it time they concentrated on issues like these. I have paid over £1000 for my MacBook and again for my iPhone. I have paid out for 2 HomePods which sound great but Siri - forget it. Voice recognition is hopeless. I've tried several times to respond to texts from my daughter via Siri to no avail .
