TV doesn't recognize my AppleTV+ subscription.

Bought a new iPhone 12 and activated the 1-year free AppleTV+ subscription on it yesterday. Installed an AppleTV4K today, and when AppleTV on the TV doesn't recognize that I have an active subscription. How to fix?

(Not sure if this should be an AppleTV Hardware or app topic!)

When you redeemed the tv+ subscription on your new iPhone, is it working?

Can you watch using your iPhone's TV app?


On TV 4K make sure you sign in with the same Apple ID used to subscribe to tv+
