Apple Watch calories

I have a new Apple Watch 6, when I exercise it does not track my calories. I have tried steps outlined in other suggestions and nothing has worked. Any suggestions?

Hi there Sami1140,

Thank you for using the Apple Support Communities! We understand calories are not tracking accurately when you are working out with your Apple Watch. We'd like to help out.

First, let's check to see if you are using the latest iOS and watchOS on your companion iPhone and Apple Watch: Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, and Update your Apple Watch

If all is updated, and the issue remains, we'd suggest these steps next, which can help ensure you are getting the most accurate measurements from your Apple Watch: Get the most accurate measurements using your Apple Watch, and Calibrating your Apple Watch for improved Workout and Activity accuracy

If after those steps, you still notice your calories are not accurate, please let us know which workout type you are using when this occurs. Is it a specific workout, or any workout? Is there no calories at all, or does the count just seem off in some way?

Please note here: Workout types on Apple Watch, "Power Saving Mode disables the Always On display, the heart rate sensor and cellular data during walking and running workouts. When the heart rate sensor is off, calorie burn calculations might not be as accurate." Do you use Power Saving Mode? This article walks you through how to check: Use the Workout app on your Apple Watch

Best regards.
