Message notifications not working

No messages coming to Apple Watch when iPhone is locked.

they show when you click on it but not any sound for the notification and no red dot appears saying a text has come in. How do we fix this

Check to make sure your Apple Watch is not in Do Not Disturb or Silent mode. Swipe up to control center and see if the Moon or Bell icon is colored in.
