I deleted iMovie and now want to re-install it on High Sierra; where can I get an 8.0 or 9.0 install file ?

MacBook Air 13″, macOS 10.13

Where did you get the version from that you deleted?

Sign into the App Store and go to your "Purchased Page"

Do you see iMovie listed on this purchased page?

If you do, then install.

iMovie ver 8 and 9 are not very compatible with High Sierra.

What version of iMovie did you delete and what OS were you using it on?

I do not know what version I deleted. I am running High Sierra on an old Air so anything would be OK.

The App Store has only ‘update’ downloads which require an already-installed version.

OK, I am seriously brain-dead. I should have known Apple would have made it easy to retrieve legacy apps . . . it worked, and THANK YOU !
