Mail on Big Sur

I don't know if it's just me, but I cannot find the spam folder anywhere in the mail app and lately before I updated a lot of important mail was going to spam. I really need to find the spam folder!! Help me!!

The spam folder has gone from the left bar (used to be in Favorites) Hello, After upgrading to Big Sur, I could not find in Mail the spam folder which used to be among the Favorites in the left bar. Very handy to have it there to quickly double-check emails filtered and tagged as spam by the system. I'd like to get it back, but I don't know how. Would any one of you know? Thanks

Empty SPAM folder has 1 unread message Mail app says there is an unread message but the folder is empty. I've already rebuilt the mailbox. I wanted not to remove all email accounts one by one to fix this. Any advice? I'm running Monterrey 12.1 on a 2020 Macbook Pro. Thanks! [Image Edited by Moderator to Remove Serial Number]

you can put the junk folder in your favourites list by hovering next to favourites in the sidebar and click on the "+" sign that appears.

then, in the popup, next to "mailbox to add" click the blue up/down arrow.

in that popup, choose "junk".

edit: if it's labeled as "spam" in your e-mail account, substitute "junk" with "spam"
