My iPad died at 75%. When I plugged it in to the charger that came with it, it powered on and it was at 25%. My iPad is only a year old. What is going on?

Why is my iPad “dying” at 30-49% ? This only started today, yesterday it was working fine and I could use it down to 1% but today it’s doing this. I’ve tried multiple force restarts and nothing works. I use it, it gets down to 30-45% it “dies” and then I charge it and it’s up to like 58%. Nothing has been working and it’s really frustrating, I’m just trying to work on a project and it’s annoying that it just “dies” in the middle of me working. I also don’t have the money at the moment to buy a new iPad. I got it in 2020 and I don’t think it’s worth it to just get rid of a perfectly fine ipad.

You should make an appointment at an apple store or authorized service provider (if open in your area) and have it checked out. Especially if it’s still under warranty. There could be an issue with the battery
