Upgrade iMac

I have a iMac 2010 27-inch computer that has macOS High Sierra 10.13.6 with a 2.8 GHz Intel Core i5 processor and a 2 TB hard drive. How can I upgrade my system to Big Sur?

You can't. That model isn't capable of running Mojave and above.

I replaced the HD with a 2 TB SSD drive and have 12 GB RAM, is there a way to slick the drive and then update to Big Sur?
