the new numbers program is not allowing me to open previous numbers documents. this is also happening with documents prepared in key note. What is going wrong with this new versions?

What happens when you try to open an older document? Is there an error message? Does the app crash?
Where are the documents stored? iCloud? Regardless, you might try logging out of iCloud and then logging back in. For some people that solves the weirdness.
