I want to purchase a new Macbook Pro but I cannot use the newer OS that comes installed I have to use High Sierra. I am working with Pro Tools 12.8.3 and High Sierra 10.13 is the newest OS it will run on. Can I downgrade to an older OS on this Macbook Pro?
I'm doing the same. I have been told you can if you create an external boot installer, then wipe the drive and install high sierra.
