New iphone data transfer
I am transferring to a new iphone, if I reset my old phone and delete all content, could I lose the photos to my new phone?

If you are not saving all your photos in iCloud (and if you don't know, you are not) then yes you could.
You need to back up your old phone, then set up your new phone, and restore the old phone backup to the new phone. Check you have everything you need, and then it is safe to reset the old phone.
