yeah.. the glass is some of the strongest ever made for a phone.. but it's weak because you cracked it? sound reasoning.
As far as I know, you can only get the screen replaced if you have apple care +
You would need to have AppleCare+ or would have to pay to get your screen repaired. They don’t offer a free first accident type of coverage. You dropped it...stronger doesn’t mean it won’t break. It was never sold as break-proof

Unless you have the Samsung Protection Plus (their equivalent to AppleCare+) that is not true (emboldening mine):
Cracked screens on Samsung devices are not covered under the Samsung Limited Warranty, but we can still assist you! Samsung replaces screens with genuine parts and warrants the repairs for the remainder of the original one year limited warranty or 90 days, whichever is longer, at a charge. We will review the cost of the repair and answer any other questions you may have after an inspection of your device.
