I got my new magsafe charger today but it will not charge the iphone 12 with any of the adapters that I have. Do I need to purchase a different adapter?

Sounds like you just have the MagSafe Charger cable. You will also need a USB-C Power Adapter of at least 20W to get it to work. You can also plug the cable into a USB-C plug in on a MacBook Air or MacBook Pro.
Recommended: 20W USB-C Power Adapter (sold separately)
