Having tried to reload the printer and clicking + to add the printer I get a error message - An error occurred while trying to add the selected device. successful-ok-ignored-or-substituted-attributes
What should I do to load the printer?

Do you mean CX7400? If so, Then try installing this driver from Epson: https://epson.com/Support/Printers/All-In-Ones/Epson-Stylus-Series/Epson-Stylus-CX7400/s/SPT_C11C689201?review-filter=macOS+11.x
