I just had a short question that I was curious about. I know that every year Apple silicon will continue to get better. In about a year I’d probably like to upgrade again from my new M1 MacBook Pro, however usually, at least online, newer macs aren’t eligible for trade in. So, I was wondering, could I just bring it to a nearby Apple store and trade it in for a GC or store credit? Thank you so much in advance!

If you MUST have a new one next year, sell yours privately and you will get more money (for little more work) than you would get from trade-in.
Don’t think I’ll absolutely have to get one next year, however I would like the option to upgrade. But I’m still on an iPhone 8, and it’s great. Apple silicon sure lasts a long time. Thank you!
