Finder has gotten flakey with regard to showing files and folders. Sometimes files and folders show up - and at other times some files and folders aren't seen. The files & folders aren't hidden. It would be nice to resolve this. =(

I forgot to mention that this is what I do - CONSTANTLY.
It seems like a dysfunctional way to exist (having to rebuild the Spotlight index continuously). But, thanks for the fix & link.
I tend to use terminal and the Unix find command - it's more reliable.
