I'm trying to upgrade my MacBook Air 2013 from macOS Catalina to the new macOS Big Sur. I have a free storage space of about 54GB, but it keeps giving the error (Install macOS Big Sur quit unexpectedly while using the libBaseIA.dylib plug-in).
can someone help?

I have solved this issue by reinstalling the macOS Catalina from the recovery mode. but now I'm facing an other issue which is an error occurring during the installation progress (An error occurred loading the update). anyone have faced this issue or know how to solve it?
this is resolved as well after closing some application running from background, and tried to upgrade to the new macOS. now I'm running on the macOS Big Sur
How does it work on your MacBook Air 6.1? I have a mid 2013 MBA, the oldest machine that Apple will update, but I’m a bit worried about doing it….
