Unable to download Mac OS Big Sur

Is anyone else having trouble downloading Big Sur? I tried after checking the status page and it said that the issue the users were facing is fixed

Can't download Mac OS Big Sur Hi all! So this is a very odd problem, but I simply cannot download the new Mac OS. I go to the app store, click download, the button grays out and nothing happens. No error message, no download, nothing. I have tried it more times than I can count, I've quit everything, restarted, cleared caches etc. I'm using a 2017 Macbook Prof 15-inch on Sierra 10.12.6. Any thoughts? Thanks!!

there's a problem with the server traffic just now, you're not alone, some users are able to download big sur and others aren't, apple will soon fix this issue just be patient.
