While downloading the Mac OS Big Sur, I got a message, "An error occurred while installing the selected updates" Unable to update the software. What should I do?

MACOS Big Sur Installation Failed. An error occurred while installing the selected updates. While downloading MACOS Big Sur, I received this error message: "MACOS Big Sur Installation Failed. An error occurred while installing the selected updates." Now the Software Update feature will only give me that error message when I try to do the update. Is there any way to clear out the partly downloaded file from the failed update and start over?

Nothing. Just wait for a while. Apple is having Update Server issues.
