I have no idea what you would tell the OP this? That's not necessarily at all the issue. For example, one can disable one's own phone by entering the wrong passcode too many times. It often has NOTHING to do with why a phone becomes disabled. When you purchase a phone which was owned by someone else, it will be Activation Locked, not disabled.
Be careful when giving advice on a subject you are not well informed on.
i am not sure about Itunes part but what i can tell you is this was somone's iphone before you got it hence why is disabled
