Install macOS Mojave application damaged - macbook pro 2015

I am trying to install Mojave on my macbook pro 2015 currently running Sierra.

I have downloaded (twice) the Install file from the Apple store, but when I launch it I get this error:

This copy of the Install macOS Mojave application is damaged, and can‘t be used to install macOS.

Any advice about how to overcome this error and install Mojave?

Thanks!

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 10.12

Put the install file in the Trash, empty the Trash.

Go back to the App Store Mojave download page, it should now say Get or Download,

instead of Open.

Ensure your mac is connected to your router via cable not WiFi.

Do not use your mac while it is downloading or any other devices

that share your internet connection.
