Anti virus
Is it better to have anit virus on the IMac or is it ok not to bother as when i bought it i was told not to bother but it was a few years ago now? TIA

You're welcome. You don't want to install any so called cleaning apps. If you are having issues you can install EtreCheck and post the results in ASC.
