I am unable to install the latest update (tvOS 14.0.2) to my Apple TV HD. I am also unable to reset it. How do I get it to work properly. I am unable to receive any streaming data on all installed apps.

I suspected that it wasn’t actually connected to WiFi. Restarting and forgetting the network did not resolve the problem. I finally tried a reset without update and the problem was resolved. I opted for automatic update and will see if it works sometime in the near future.

It could be that there is an issue with connecting to the internet. Go to Settings﹥Network﹥ and find the IP address. If it says 169.254.x.x, then it is self-assigned and not functional for internet connectivity. Restart your router and optionally other network equipment. Then try again.
