iPhone X Software Problem

My iPhone XS Max suddenly shut off while I was on a phone call. After it shut off it turned back on and was running very slowly. I can't get apps to open and I cant seem to do anything on the phone. I have tried to restart multiple times put that does not work either. I tried to update it but the phone will just shut off before the update even starts. I tired plugging it in to my computer and reseting it that way, but it will not sync to my computer. I have tried everything I can think of my nothing will work. I need help.

When an iPhone's battery health reaches 80% or below then peak performance can be affected and symptoms that you are experiencing may happen.

What is the Battery Health of your iPhone? Open Settings âž” Battery âž” Battery Health and let us know which percentage you see for Maximum Capacity. Also note what is written under Peak Performance. If your battery's Maximum Capacity shows a value of 80% or less than it has gone through its lifecycle and therefore should be replaced, according to Apple.


Meanwhile, Try and Force Restart your iPhone EXACTLY as shown below and see whether that resolves the issue:

  • Press and quickly release Volume UP button
  • Press and quickly release Volume DOWN button
  • Press and Hold the SIDE button until an Apple logo appears and then release the Side button (Can take up to 20 seconds. (DO NOT release Side Button when invited to Slide Power OFF).
