What do I do for this iPhone Update error?
The iPhone "iPhone" could not be updated. An unknown error occurred (4000).
I am on version14.0.1 updating to the bug fix release of 14.1
I have updated and restarted everything.
I am using iTunes 12.10.10.2
I am using a valid certified USB cable.

That is the current workaround until Apple updates iTunes. My problem with the workaround is if you are using Apple Pay, it removes all of your credit cards and you have to add everything back after you finish. Quite a pain.
That is something that is wrong with iTunes for Windows and Windows 10. You can try by temporarily removing your passcode on the phone, or you can do your update OTA on the phone itself.
The update worked once I removed the passcode. I appreciate the idea.
I would try to do the update over wifi.that always works with me, even with beta updates.
Removing the passcode worked. My wifi is way too slow.
