When I download to my library on my Mac, running OSX Catalina, the standard definition videos play just fine, but the HD definition videos only play a black screen. Has anyone else faced this issue and/or figured out how to fix it??

So, i purchased the movie from iTunes, downloaded it, and now it doesn't play, while the same movie, plays via an AppleTV both streamed from iTunes and/or streamed from my mac library (where it doesn't play locally!)
I deleted one of the movies and tried again, but to no avail. Its a bug, not a copyright issue
So Apples own TV app on the Mac (the replacement for iTunes integrated app) can not play content bought from it - thats a bug, its not copying a file, its downloading and playing where you dowloaded it, via Apples own app, with authorised account the same.
A purchase movie has copyright protection.
The Apple TV can authorize playback as can streaming.
You copied the file and it would seem the same as a stolen copy.
Copyright. Not a bug.
That usually indicates a copyright protection problem.
