Macbook ios 10.12.6 cann't install 2019 microsoft office home and student?

I bought 2019 Microsoft Office Home and Student today but My 2015 MacBook has iOS 10.12.6. So the system does not allow me to install it. It require iOS 10.13.0 or later, so I update my mac but it still iOS 10.12.6. How shall do please? Please help me how to update iOS 10.13.0 or later on my MacBook?
