When will a fix for the HP printer problem be released?

So I reset all my printers by following this procedure.

Click the Apple menu, and then click System Preferences. Click Printers & Scanners, Print & Scan, or Print & Fax. Right-click (or Control + click) anywhere inside the Printers window, and then click Reset printing system. Click Reset or OK

Then i went to the HP website and downloaded the recommended SMART HP software see link below and followed the instructions to reset up the HP printer. I seemed to work for me.

I have the same problem and this is really an issue for my home office and is having a direct impact on my business. I take this as a lack of respect to customers from hardware manufactures and i will surely take note in my next purchases and recommendations
