Apple Pay on Watch SE with cellular in UK

If I buy the Watch SE with cellular and link to my mobile account, can I leave my phone at home and still pay using Apple Pay when out? I’m in the UK. Thanks!

Yes, if you set up Pay on the cellular version watch, it should work without assistance from the iPhone.
