I bought an used iphone from someone on Facebook. I checked IMEI that the phone is clear. The phone Is erased when i made purchase. My question is can the seller report the phone as stolen? Since I don’t know if the phone is insured

I am not completely understanding your question however I will answer to the direct question - Yes the seller can report that iPhone stolen at any time even though it is erased. Seller can report it stolen to the carrier and/or the police etc.
