How do I remove my pictures/ videos from my phone correctly so I can free up some spaces. Thanks

My phone is full of pictures. I deleted most of them but it doesn’t free up any of spaces. I had about 10k pictures/ videos. Right now I have about 2k pictures left. But it still says 127.4GB out of 128GB has been used. Yes! I removed all recently deleted.

It appears that all of your deleted data still exists and trapped in the "Other" category. Two ways to solve this-

Update to iOS 14 by using a computer and that will trim down the data in the "Other" category OR
Please follow the instructions in this guide published by Apple ➔ How to Clear OTHER Category on your iPhone.

(I doubt that your iPhone can complete an iOS update over Wi-Fi because there is not enough storage space available)
