my music library is no longer available

My music library has disappeared from my iTunes

We understand that your music library is missing, and we want to help with this issue.


Just to confirm, is the music missing on your iOS device itself, or only in iTunes on a computer?


If the issue is occurring on your iOS device, were any changes made to your device or its settings before this occurred? For example, if you subscribe to Apple Music, did you recently enable the "Sync Library" setting? If you did, the information and steps on the following page may be helpful:


If songs are missing from your music library after you turn on Sync Library


If the issue is occurring only in iTunes on a computer, can you let us know if you're using a Mac or a PC?


If you're using a Mac with macOS Catalina, your iTunes content would have migrated into separate applications, and music will now be in the Music app. You can find more information about that here:
