I am making digital copies of my vinyl records in Garageband 10.3.5. When I try to share separate tracks to Music the entire recording is bounced and shared, not the individual tracks. Can someone explain how to get a separated track shared?

You may want to use the cycle region to mark the section of the recording you want to bounce:

  • Enable the cycle region by clicking the Cycle button in the toolbar (the button with the two chasing arrows)
  • Click into the bar with the measures to mark the measures you want to share. The measures should appear with a yellow bar.
  • Now click the Share button and select to share to Music.
  • In the Share dialog enable the option to share the cycle area only.
