I received an e-mail stating Adobe Flash Player will reach end of life (EOL) at the end of this year...2020, and gives a uninstall to take it off the computer. Is this a scam, or is it ligit?

I doubt Adobe is sending out EOL emails. Adobe Flash Support is ending 12/31/2020. However, if you wish to uninstall, use Adobe's uninstaller: https://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/uninstall-flash-player-mac-os.html#OS_X_10_4_and_later
Thank you Dialabrain. Appreciate your reply! I can assure you I did received the e-mail from Adobe which explained why the app could be uninstalled, including the end of life on12/31/2020. At any rate I used their uninstaller and all is well. Thanks again.
I'm sure it's fine. Not sure how or why Adobe would be sending out EOL emails to probably hundreds of millions of users however. I've certainly never seen one. :)
You're welcome. It may have looked like it came from Adobe but there's a good chance it was a scam.
