Unable to rest screen time passcode even after enterting appleid and password.

Unable to rest screen time passcode even after enterting appleid and password. It keeps adding failed attempts to the count and does not allow me to reset the screen time passcode. When I attempted to reset the screen time passcode the number of attempts was 13. After selecting forgot passcode, and then entering my appleid and password, it will switch back to the passcode entry window and mark at as failed.

Any one else seen this before?

My device is iPad Air 2. Currently running 14.0.1 of the software.

I ended up getting help from Apple Support and reset the device as a new device. This resolved the issue. Thank you for your response.
