apple watch trade in
Trying to erase old apple watch remotely but my the wrong Apple ID comes up. I can’t change it. Of course it won’t let me erase it remotely with the wrong Apple ID. How do I get around that?

I haven’t forgot my Apple ID. I changed it about a year ago. I didn’t change my password. In trying to erase the watch, the old ID is coming up. Apple does allow me to put in the current Apple ID. Putting in the password that didn’t change doesn’t work either.
if there isn’t an answer here, I guess I’ll have to make a trip to the apple store.
