Flash player

I just got my first MacBook Air today and was attempting to download Adobe Flash Player. However whenever I did it seemed as though nothing happened. It wouldn't show up anywhere even after attempting to download it multiple times. I looked it up and everything and followed the steps but still couldn't manage to get flash. I went to Adobe's support and saw this message. "Apple Safari version 14, released for macOS in September 2020, will no longer load Adobe Flash Player or play Flash content. Please visit Apple’s Safari support for more information." So since they no longer support Adobe flash, how can I use any websites that requires flash?

For now, you can use Chrome. You’ll have to enable it in chrome settings, then specifically give permission each time website calls for Flash.


Adobe has deprecated flash, and its end of life is December of this year. It’s a security risk on computers that run it. I suspect everyone else’s browsers will follow Safari and stop supporting Flash soon.
