I clicked the link to send sms for someone and safari asked to allow opening messages and I permitted. I started writing in messages and sent the sms but it didn't go? the progress bar at the top of messages didn't complete to the end and the sms had red exclamation mark? Can you tell me how to fix this problem please?

on my iPhone went to setting/messages/text message forwarding and voila everything is good now. Credit to MoonJ. :)

Open the Messages app and bring up it's preferences. in the iMessage pane under Settings check the Enable this account checkbox and add all of the emails addresses that you have to use as well as your iPhone number.
