apps will not open phone will not shut off

i have tried opening my apps, none will open, I am unable to restart my phone or even turn it off nothing works, I have no computer i can connect it to and try recovery mode HELP !

iPhone 11, iOS 14

i can not turn my phone off or on it wont even come up and i do not have computer to restart it

I had to do the volume down up and hold the power button ive been doing this for about 30 mins and finally after the 4th try it shut off :) thank you for your response

The key word in those instructions is “quickly"

“Press and QUICKLY release Volume UP”, etc
