I recently updated my phone to 14.0.1 but ever since doing so I can’t play music through the usb. I don’t have car play just one that allows iPod connection. Car has been checked with no faults. Older iOS versions still work.

Are you able to get phone calls using the USB connection? Does audio from different apps play through the car stereo? If so, you will need to check with with manufacturer to confirm if the car stereos firmware is compatible with iOS 14.0.1.

It charges and plays the current song but i can’t change the song etc. I have taken it to a dealership and they have said it’s up to date. It’s definitely to do with the update.
Were they able to fix this? I am having the same issue.
No not that I’m aware of. I gave up and got a new car🙈It’s defo the update that’s the issue as my partners phone still worked and he hadn’t updated his
