I transferred my info. from the 6plus to my new iPhone 11 and I think I see everything except I don't have a phone number.
I have contacts, etc. but can't make calls, don't see a have data, and when I text it is only through wifi access and an address pops up with the person receiving the text.

Did you move the SIM from the old phone to the new phone, or contact your carrier to move your number from the old phone to the eSIM in the iPhone 11? You need to do one of these two.

You actually have three options:
When I was on the phone with apple they acted like I didn't need to move the sim card over...would that work? or do you recommend I contact the carrier to to move my number?
Use a working phone to ask your carrier for help.
