All my music and sound effects have disappeared in iMovie. How can I get them back?

I got customer service on the phone. I had to click on the drop down menu near the top left of the screen. I was clicking on the list on the list. So, I found them, it just seems that I didn’t have to do that the last time I used iMovie.

Can you describe what you are observing and what steps you have done to get the music back? Is this Apple Music or iTunes music? Did you do any updates or other procedures that might have bearing on the issue? Are you able to drag a song from iTunes to your desktop, and then into iMovie?
