iMac as remote monitor

Hi Will

Just wondering if you solved the question as I have the same problem. Have tried all of the steps outlined by Apple. iMac as a remote monitor works fine with my 2018 MacBook Air but not my 2020 MacBook Air.

Target Display Mode has been deprecated and will not work with a new MacBook Air. Please refer to Use your iMac as a display with target display mode.
