Hi, I cannot turn my phone off. I can't access any apps on my Iphone. I get notifications but when i click on them it will not open the app. I have held done the power button and volume button and it still doesn't work. Can anyone help me?

Not sure whether you Force Restarted your iPhone correctly from your post and therefore am posting the procedure for you.

Try and Force Restart your iPhone exactly as shown below and see whether that resolves the issue:

Press and quickly release Volume UP button
Press and quickly release Volume DOWN button
Press and Hold the SIDE button until an Apple logo appears then release the Side button (Can take up to 20 seconds. DO NOT release Side Button when invited to Slide Power OFF).
