My MacBook Pro Early 2015 13'' is slow all of a sudden.

I woke up this morning and the Macbook has never been this slow. When

I turned it off yesterday night, everything was smooth and fast. Really don’t know what happened. I thought it was the full SSD, but after moving stuff to an external one and updating the OS to Catalina 10.15.7 nothing has changed. Also, fans that are always quiet, unless I’m playing video games, are always on now. Please help, I need it for school, I don't wanna screw my semester.

Greetings FrancisVotto,

We see that your MacBooks performance is slower than what you're use to as well as experiencing the fans to run more than expected. We understand how this can be a concern, and you've come to the right place for assistance with this.

Are you noticing that this started after any recent installations or updates to your MacBook?

Is this occurring when you use any specific programs or applications? If so, does closing the applications resolve this after a few minutes?

Let's also try resetting the SMC of your MacBook to see if this clears up what you're experiencing. For assistance with this, take a look at the following resource:

How to reset the SMC of your Mac

We look forward to hearing back from you.

Cheers!
