Son failed on iPad password to many times

My son entered the incorrect password to many times on our iPad and it now says iPad is disabled, connect to iTunes. I’m on iTunes and connected between my computer and IPad are not doing anything. Other note is my wife sit this up but trying to connect to my iTunes. Not sure if that has something to do with it. This happens 2 years ago and still haven’t been able to fix.

Sounds like you need to either connect it to the computer (and the correct copy of iTunes, i.e. your wife's account) that was initially used to set up the iPad. Otherwise you'll need to erase & restore the iPad as described here:
